The Newest Health Craze: Living

Does it ever feel like you could spend your entire life chasing one health craze after another? We know the feeling. From vitamins, to juice bars, to health food stores and the like- not only does the advice seem to add up, so does the cost. The question we ask is: if you spend all your time and money on being healthy, what do you do when you find out the things that were supposed to make you healthy, well, don’t?

For the last few years, juicing has been the biggest health craze. Experts and novices alike have sworn by its health enhancing properties. And while some of the science is good (certain fruits and vegetables carry nutrients that your body needs), the art of juicing has been proven to be overrated. It’s not going to cure all of your body’s ailments. It’s not going to meet all of your body’s nutritional needs. While that assertion may seem straight forward, it is difficult to wade through all of the information out there pertaining to health and wellness. If a new diet or trend or craze is touted as the best way for you to feel, look, and be better, then why wouldn’t you try it? The problem with this line of thinking is that there isn’t one quick fix to total wellness. Your body is designed to function at an incredibly efficient rate. Most of what you do is maintenance in order to keep it in peak condition.

How do you keep your body in peak condition, you might ask? Most of the health problems that we experience today are not necessarily due to lack of nutrients or poor diet (although those things do contribute to overall health and wellness). A major contributing factor is the Fight or Flight response that is activated in everyone because of the stress on our bodies from the toxicity of the environment. This causes the rejuvenation structures in our bodies to not be able to function anywhere near their optimum potential. It also causes an imbalance in the biomechanics of the body with more tension developing on one side of the muscles and lack of tone on the other. Over time this tension and lack of tone affects our circulation. Balanced muscle movement is vital to help the flow of blood through the capillaries and the lymphatic system flow. When you understand all this you can easily see why drinking all the juices in the world is not going to be able to neutralize the stress response and all the tension in your muscles that it causes. The Rikian Rejuvenator at Lifewave Living Center is uniquely designed to help relax the tension in your muscles and develop flexibility so that in turn can help circulation. The unique rhythmic motion of the Rikian works deep within your muscles to release tension and enhance circulation over time.

As we said before, there isn’t one quick fix to overall health and wellness. Regular sessions on the Rikian Rejuvenator will enhance muscle flexibility it takes time and commitment in order for you to gain optimum benefits.
